ERICA'S
Library
Public libraries are one of the very few places in which one can find refuge, without capitalism's nagging imperative to purchase a good, but rather, to be, to read, to take up space, to wonder and to expand. Prose and ideas help us diagnose, give form and the ability to articulate our experiences. It also dare us on trajectories of re-imagining what might be possible. They can be tools of empowerment towards social change, towards change within ourselves. This page is my curated catalogue of books I have found compelling and healing in both my academic and personal journey. For full texts, visit your local public libraries and if not able, get in touch with me via e-mail. Happy reading!
These are yet to be organised into genres, just a quick preliminary sharing of some of my favourite works.
